Job Description:

As a Fabricator and Welder at BAE Systems, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, marking off materials, and assembling ship structures. You will also be involved in fabricating ship items, such as seats, ladders, and false flooring, and outfitting ships with hatches, watertight doors, and equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Modern Apprenticeship certificate (also known as Trade Papers) and a minimum SVQ 3 or equivalent. You should have current knowledge and experience in fabrication, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a clear understanding of SHE and Risk Assessment.
