Accounting Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Technician to support our expanding practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in handling a range of financial tasks. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours, making it ideal for someone looking to balance professional growth with personal commitments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Client Accounts Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations.
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and other reports as required.
* Tax Compliance: Support the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
* Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing clear and concise financial advice.
**Requirements:**
* Qualifications: Fully Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI or equivalent).
* Experience: Experience in an accountancy practice or similar financial environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
