Senior Commercial Manager - Ports

Project: We have an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join the team on this new project for Mace, a leading port network. You will be responsible for the management of commercial aspects of the business area, including supporting pre-contract and operations, managing commercial risk and opportunity, ensuring accuracy of forecasts, and adhering to commercial reporting procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting feasibility studies and advising on procurement strategies and contract selection
  • Writing and undertaking procurement reports
  • Supporting the delivery of ports projects, providing pre-award, procurement, and post-award contract administration support
  • Monitoring compliance with contract obligations and driving value from the supply chain
  • Providing a 'cradle to grave' commercial function for all work packages making up the commission

Requirements:

  • Commercial acumen and experience in managing commercial aspects of business areas
  • Ability to conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
