International Treasury Operations and Cross-Divisional Payment Efficiency

Gallagher's global brokerage team is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Treasury Analyst. In this role, you will support international treasury operations and global bank fees analytics and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and executing international payments, including wire transfers, foreign currency transactions, and cross-border settlements.
  • Coordinating with external banking partners and payment service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of international payments.
  • Maintaining accurate records of international transactions, including payment confirmations, receipts, and supporting documentation.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to international payments, working closely with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate international payment processes, leveraging technology and systems to improve efficiency.
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate international payment activities, trends, and performance to management.
Bank Fee Analysis and Treasury Expense Optimization Initiative

In this role, you will conduct thorough analysis of bank fees charged by our financial institutions, identify discrepancies, errors, or unnecessary fees, and work with the relevant parties to resolve them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough analysis of bank fees charged by our financial institutions.
  • Identifying discrepancies, errors, or unnecessary fees and working with the relevant parties to resolve them.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as finance and treasury teams, to gather necessary data and information for analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our banking relationships, including fee structures, pricing models, and contractual agreements.
  • Monitoring industry trends and best practices related to bank fees and recommending strategies to optimize our banking relationships.
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and cost-saving opportunities to management.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of bank fees in financial statements and budgets.
  • Collaborating with external vendors or consultants, as needed, to enhance fee analysis capabilities and stay up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Assisting in negotiating fee structures and contractual terms with financial institutions to achieve favorable terms for the organization.
  • Staying informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to bank fees and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
Global Operational Forecasting, TMS and Global Initiatives

In this role, you will also be responsible for international cash forecasting and reporting, treasury management system, and global initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pro-actively leading continuous process improvement efforts to optimize and improve the cash forecasting model on an ongoing basis.
  • Providing ad hoc business analysis and cash modeling as required by leadership.
  • Partnering with divisions to understand the country-specific cash flows and timing.
  • Reviewing the month-end schedules, time-line, and other deliverables prepared by analysts.
