Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality domestic service to the hospital, maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Specification and Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) Task Force Code of Practice.
  • Rotate around all wards, clinical areas, and departments within the hospital, ensuring a consistent and thorough cleaning service.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
