Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at ARTHEx Biotech. As a key member of our Clinical Department, you will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of one or more clinical trials.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of these trials, including budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor management. You will work closely with the Director, Clinical Project Management, and CROs/vendor partners to plan and execute clinical trials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical operations, from protocol concept through clinical study reporting. A background in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly desirable, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with investigative sites and external vendors, ensuring effective communication and resolution of site-related issues. Additionally, you will oversee site selection, activation, and monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and relevant SOPs.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as proven leadership qualities. They will be able to travel as needed for investigator meetings, vendor auditing, and internal team meetings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific/life sciences discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations, including protocol concept, clinical study reporting, and regulatory submissions
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership qualities, including ability to train others, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiating, etc.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, deliver expected deliverables in a timely manner, and proactively communicate changes in pre-established goals and deadlines
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
