Café Confectioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Café Confectioner to join our team at the Pavilion Café, Queen's Park Lodge, Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for baking a range of sweet treats, from cakes and biscuits to pastries and desserts. Your creations will be sold in our café, with the income generated supporting our vital conservation work in Bolton and beyond.

You will have access to our kitchen and, with guidance, choose what to bake, aiming to keep items themed around the time of the year, alongside baking traditional favourites. The role is perfect for someone who wants to combine their passion for baking with their love of nature and wildlife.

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience. This is a part-time role, working weekdays, and we are looking for someone who can commit to this schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a bakery or similar environment, excellent baking skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques. You will also be passionate about supporting local wildlife and conservation efforts.
