Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team at Tyre Safety Centre Ltd in Cookstown, Co Tyrone. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical advice and services to our customers.

About the Role:
In this role, you will work on various tasks including inspection, repair, and maintenance of passenger and light commercial vehicles. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively, adhering to manufacturers' specifications and quality guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out domestic and light commercial vehicle repairs and servicing
  • Working to manufacturers' specifications and quality guidelines
  • Analyzing faults and implementing solutions
  • Following workplace occupational health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Contributing to workplace communication

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a clean driving license and experience working with industrial machinery. A strong understanding of mechanics and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers are essential.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This is a full-time permanent position, with hours of 7.45am-5.15pm Monday to Friday and 7.45am-12.00pm on Saturdays. We offer a competitive salary, opportunities for career growth, and a collaborative work environment.
