Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Home From Home Care. As a specialist in Positive Behaviour Support, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive support plans for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments to inform support plans
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans in collaboration with individuals and stakeholders
  • Utilise data to inform clinical and operational decision-making
  • Coach and mentor support teams in adopting new support practices
  • Review procedural fidelity and support practices across locations
  • Deliver post-event debriefs to explore learning outcomes and support wellbeing
  • Produce high-quality reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • Relevant postgraduate studies, such as an MSc in Positive Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Previous experience working with adult residential support services and developing functional behaviour assessments and Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of recognised best practice and clinical models for enhancing and measuring quality of life outcomes
  • Ability to utilise and manage large amounts of quantitative, qualitative, and anecdotal information
