Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and high availability.
Your primary duties will include:
- Designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking.
- Ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborating with development teams to implement automated deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Providing support and maintenance for our cloud-based applications and services, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A strong background in cloud computing, preferably with experience in GCP or AWS.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-native services, including containerization using Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and Puppet.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, particularly RHEL.
At Atom bank, we offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
