Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled HVDC Converters Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our project development phase, you will provide technical expertise in HVDC Converters and PMC. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the designed power system meets technical requirements and expectations. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement a legislative and regulatory framework for the system on generation site side. Additionally, you will oversee control systems to demonstrate that the designed system is capable of secure and reliable operation.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in implementing cost-benefit analysis, design process, safety in design, RAM study, power system simulations, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning. Familiarity with EMS/SCADA system with a proper cyber security philosophy is essential. A Chartered Engineer and Member of the relevant institution, with a BSc/BEng qualified in Electrical or Controls/Instrumentation discipline, would be highly desirable.
