About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Site Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our Infrastructure business, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of our Highways projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of Highways projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement effective project management plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, commercial, and procurement, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Highways project management. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Highways project management, with a strong understanding of project delivery principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
