At Inclusion, we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at HMP Stoke Heath. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with severe mental health problems in a prison setting.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health) and significant supervised practice experience working with people with mental health needs. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to engage calmly and sensitively with service users in distressing circumstances.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. About the Role:

  • Provide evidence-based interventions to a caseload of male service users residing in prison.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to develop care plans that are focused on strengths and outcomes.
  • Liaise with care co-ordinators to monitor progress and attend multi-disciplinary reviews.
  • Analyse and communicate complex information verbally and in writing.
