Family Assessment Centre Social Worker Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Social Work Professional to join our team at a Family Assessment Centre.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role that involves conducting thorough assessments with families, working alongside Family Support Workers both in-house and within the community.
  • You will build strong relationships with families to ensure fair and evidence-based reports, developing and delivering support interventions to help parents improve their parenting skills.
  • As a key member of our team, you will provide expert witness testimony in court.

About You:

  • A registered Social Worker (SWE) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families in a statutory setting is essential for this role.
  • You will have proven experience in completing robust parenting assessments and safe practice techniques, as well as up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
  • An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills is vital for success in this position.
  • You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
