About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Packing Skilled Operative to join our team at our site in the UK. As part of our dynamic FMCG factory environment, you'll be responsible for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escalating any issues to Technical Operatives or Process Leader
  • Working proactively to ensure that the production lines are running effectively
  • Carrying out hourly production and quality control checks
  • Recording production data both electronic and paper based
  • Ensuring that the product is packed correctly and to high standard expectations
  • Reporting information back to section managers
  • Cleaning equipment and modules on a rotation schedule

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
  • Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
