Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to take on a challenging role and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with a design team to deliver reports, specifications, and detailed design solutions.
  2. Utilize specialist CAD and BIM software, including Revit, to design compliant systems solutions.
  3. Conduct design calculations to support and demonstrate compliance with client requirements.
  4. Undertake site surveys and capture relevant data to inform design decisions.
  5. Review construction design details and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Liaise closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
  7. Attend project group and technical meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  8. Ensure that design and maintenance of building systems meet legislative and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
  1. Experience of design solutions from conception through to completion, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  2. Qualification with a Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND).
  3. Working towards IEng registration, with registration fee paid for.
  4. Proficiency in Revit software, with training provided for those who require it.
