  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Implement purchase order systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on procurement activities and budget status.
  • Mentor and support junior buyers and procurement staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, services, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Competitive salary £50,000 - £55,000 depending on industry experience.
