Financial Operations Administrator

Kent County Council is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Administrator to join our team in Maidstone. As a key member of the Exchequer Services team, you will be responsible for administering and managing Foster carers payments and mileage claims, as well as processing Day Care Payments and handling Reclaims and overpayments. This is a full-time position with a mix of home and office working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Foster carers payments and mileage claims.
- Process Day Care Payments and handle Reclaims and overpayments.
- Manage Kent Card payments and process invoices and payment requests.
- Deal with queries via email and telephone.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a good attention to detail and proficiency in ICT systems (Microsoft applications, databases, etc.). Familiarity with Liberi, Controcc, Oracle, LPS, and customer-based portals is an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
