Crisis Care Specialist

The Welsh Ambulance Service is seeking an experienced mental health professional to join their team as a Senior Mental Health Clinician. This role requires a strong understanding of crisis care, particularly in emergency and unscheduled settings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and organisational skills, with experience managing day-to-day operational and professional issues in emergency settings. They will also be able to communicate effectively at all levels, problem-solve under pressure, and be flexible in their approach to work.
This role may involve working independently and autonomously, with an induction program offered to support the new team member. The Welsh Ambulance Service values diversity and inclusivity, and encourages applications from under-represented groups.
As a member of the team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care for people who call 999 in crisis. You will work closely with the Clinical Support Desk Manager and other team members to achieve this goal.
