About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Buyer to join our team in Stevenage. As a Software Buyer, you will be responsible for handling software procurement in the UK and across the Group. You will work in partnership with our internal collaborators to handle procurement and competitions for software and services, champion the right relationships with our partners and suppliers, and deliver the right procurement outcomes for MBDA.

The successful candidate will have excellent soft skills, a strong understanding of software and software procurement, and be comfortable with learning and developing these skills. You will be willing to travel, collaborate with colleagues and partners, and able to work with multifunctional teams in person or remotely in Rome, Paris, or in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for our Software Category Managers in the UK, France, and Italy
  • Handle software procurement in the UK and across the Group
  • Work in partnership with internal collaborators to handle procurement and competitions for software and services
  • Champion the right relationships with partners and suppliers
  • Deliver the right procurement outcomes for MBDA
