Maintenance Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line by performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and participating in the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Perform planned maintenance and repairs to ensure production efficiency and minimize downtime
* Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns and line change-overs in a timely and efficient manner
* Collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and implement opportunities for improvement within the engineering environment
* Maintain production OEE to hit site KPI targets and support the achievement of factory-wide goals
* Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for the adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, preferably in the FMCG industry
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
