Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team based in Carlisle. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing an onsite professional security presence, providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour, and providing protection for customers, property and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external site patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises
  • Provide concierge duties, including greeting visitors and responding to queries
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any security incidents
  • Work collaboratively with other security personnel to maintain a high level of security and safety
  • Participate in regular training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Smart and presentable appearance
  • Polite and approachable demeanor
  • Professional and able to make decisions on your own accord
  • Vigilant and able to identify potential security risks
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts
  • Ability to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
