Primary Teacher Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to work in schools across New Tredegar and surrounding areas. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a classroom of learners in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, and engaging learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
