Credit and Risk Controller at Campion Pickworth

Campion Pickworth is looking for a skilled Credit and Risk Controller to join their team in London. As a key member of the credit risk management team, you will be responsible for leading the production of IFRS 9 expected losses, including analysis and explanation of key drivers.

This is a highly visible role that gives you the opportunity to develop your career at a growing bank interacting with senior leadership teams. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Credit Risk.

  1. Lead the production of IFRS 9 expected losses, including analysis and explanation of key drivers.
  2. Support the validation and audit of models and the associated model lifecycle.
  3. Implement newly developed second-generation IFRS 9 models and changes to existing model suites.
  4. Maintain and continuously improve an appropriate data structure to deliver efficient and effective model risk management.
  5. Support the development of the bank's second-generation IFRS 9 models.
  6. Demonstrate significant experience in using SAS (macros, arrays, scoring/simulation engines); knowledge of other programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python would be advantageous.
  7. Have an understanding of credit risk and techniques used to develop credit risk models.
  8. Experience in data mining is also required.
  9. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Word.
  10. Analyzing SME credit experience and a background in a credit risk reporting role would be beneficial.

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
