Maintenance Engineer Job Description

The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Blackpool area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery, maintaining high levels of productivity, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and address areas of inefficiency, implementing solutions to improve production processes
  • Collaborate with production staff to provide technical support and guidance
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a production environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm shifts
