We are seeking a talented Senior Traffic Modeller to play a key role in our partner company's growing traffic and transportation business. The successful candidate will lead the development of local and microsimulation traffic models, providing technical expertise within the team and contributing to the future growth of the business.

The company is currently engaged on a number of high-profile and challenging projects for key clients, and there would be the opportunity to become involved in these projects directly and play a pivotal role in their delivery.

The project work that they undertake is varied, challenging, and often high-profile due to the clients that they work for in Central London and across the UK. You will be provided with opportunities for internal and external training as part of a programme of continuous professional development.

Requirements:

Knowledge:
  • A good skill level and experience of using LinSig and Vissim/microsimulation software VisVAP.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and Excel in particular.

Experience:

  • A good level of professional work experience, with London experience highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard relevant degree, or a postgraduate qualification in transport planning or a suitable level of professional experience to demonstrate capability.
  • Experience with other software packages, i.e.: PTV Visum (ONE modelling in particular), GIS, Paramics, SATURN, Aimsun, and Python.
  • Project management.
