uPVC Carpenter - Multi Trades Person

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile uPVC Carpenter to join our dynamic maintenance team at The Hyde Group. As a uPVC Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining uPVC windows, doors, and frames, including adjustments to hinges and locks, seal replacements, and resolving issues with double-glazed units to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Conducting carpentry tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures.
  • Performing plumbing duties, such as repairs, installations, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Addressing general maintenance issues, including painting, tiling, and other tasks as required.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to complete comprehensive property projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in multiple trades, including uPVC repairs, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.
  • Experience working in social housing is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
