The London Clinic, a leading private hospital in the UK, is seeking a skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join its Physiotherapy Department. Based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW), this exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £56,743 - £68,121 per annum.

About The Job:
  • This role involves providing specialist assessment, advice, and treatment to patients within the 13 bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Surgical wards, supporting various specialities such as colorectal, vascular, plastics, thoracic, gynaecology, urology, head & neck, neuroscience, oncology, and orthopaedics.
  • As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be expected to work flexibly across all teams – Surgical, Oncology, and Orthopaedics, primarily in the in-patient setting, and support the out-of-hours on-call service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Undertaking specialist assessments of patients on ICU/Surgery with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies;
  • Utilising highly developed therapeutic handling skills to support rehabilitation of patients on ICU/Surgery;
  • Participating in and assisting with the organisation of the respiratory weekday and weekend work, and out-of-hours on-call rota, including regular training sessions for in-patient staff and supporting documentation & competency records;
  • Planning the effective daily management of caseloads of patients, responding to urgent referrals, unplanned admissions, and unpredictable work patterns.
