Customer Service Specialist Opportunity

Chase & Holland Recruitment Ltd is proud to be working with a global manufacturing and distribution business in the Sheffield area who are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute towards the overall customer experience by supporting across the customer order process, including complex and export orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise between sales colleagues and customers to clarify orders and develop customer relationships
  • Process orders in a timely fashion to meet cut-off deadlines
  • Handle incoming customer enquiries/queries regarding products, order adjustments, complaints, and complex orders
  • Organise documentation and certifications for export orders
  • Work cooperatively within the Customer Service team to support across the use of Salesforce, export orders, complaints, and IT enhancements
  • Support in the coordination of customer-service activities, including shipments, inventory levels, orders, and sales activities
Requirements
  • A second language is essential for this role, ideally German
  • Proven customer service experience within a similar role, including order processing
  • Experience and knowledge of processing export orders is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
  • IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage, etc.
