Job Description: Business Development ManagerThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Manager, targeting new business and managing account activities within the dispensing doctor sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience in telesales and high-level customer service skills, with the ability to create needs and opportunities. They will also be able to work to targets and deadlines, possess excellent communication skills, and be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
The role involves:
- Gaining and developing new business within the dispensing doctor sector through direct phone sales.
- Working with non-trading accounts to attempt to gain business.
- Proactively contacting customers to maintain and grow business with their accounts.
- Assisting in resolving customer queries, including complaints when required.
The successful candidate will also:
- Manage customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with various departments to seek product information to resolve queries.
- Develop a good working knowledge of the product range and industry to engage with customers.
- Complete order processing and generate tenders for accounts.
- Communicate frequent offers to target customers.
- Work to Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction and performance.
- Telesales experience preferred.
- High level of customer service skill essential.
- Ability to think on feet and create needs and opportunities.
- Experience in working to targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
- Highly organized nature with meticulous attention to detail.
