We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Welder Expert to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. This is a unique opportunity to work in a world-leading company that designs, tests, manufactures, and assembles landing gear used on commercial aircraft.
The successful candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, and experience with pipe manufacture processes, assembly, and completion of associated production acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities- Operate conventional and numerically controlled equipment for pipe production, following production procedures and quality requirements.
- Install tools, measuring, and test equipment, load computer programs, and input production equipment settings.
- Perform machine operations, intermediate checks, and inspections to ensure geometric tolerances and quality compliance.
- Contribute to improvement activities, propose technical and organizational improvements, and maintain the workstation and tools in good condition.
