At Ham Yard Hotel, we are seeking a skilled Senior Pastry Sous Chef to lead our pastry team and contribute to the hotel's culinary excellence.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to develop and implement innovative pastry concepts, ensuring a smooth and consistent service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to manage and inspire the pastry team
  • Ensure exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of pastry preparation and presentation
  • Develop and maintain organisational efficiency and effective communication within the kitchen
  • Oversee the preparation and order of service, ensuring timely and high-quality output
  • Uphold Ham Yard Hotel's standards of excellence, delivering delicious pastries using only fresh ingredients
  • Foster a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar senior pastry role
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and high standards of food knowledge
  • Passion for food and a strong commitment to using fresh ingredients
  • Leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a kitchen team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
