Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist Mechanical to join our team at Allied Healthcare. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented standards and schedules.
  2. Documentation: Complete necessary documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, either via handwritten forms or input screens.
  3. Training and Development: Undertake training to improve skills and meet business requirements.
  4. Vehicle and Tool Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicle and tools.
  5. Health, Safety, and Environmental: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, reporting any incidents to site management and supervisors.
  6. Independence and Autonomy: Work effectively with minimal supervision.
  7. Service Documentation: Ensure timely completion of service documentation.
  8. Upsell Opportunities: Identify upsell opportunities to customers, documenting rejected opportunities before customer signature on service worksheets.
  9. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering, 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferred, Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in preventative maintenance and documentation. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
