About the Role

Ford & Slater Limited, a reputable UK-based truck dealer group, is looking for a skilled LCV / Van Technician to join their team in Leicester.

We require someone with experience working as a technician or mechanic within various sectors, including LCV, Van, HGV, and more. Training can be provided for car mechanics who want to transfer their skills.

This role involves:

  • Servicing and maintaining a range of LCVs and Vans
  • Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Diagnostics and repair work
  • Ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and is carried out safely
  • Road testing vehicles as needed, subject to licensing conditions
