About the Role
Vaccination UK is seeking a skilled Immunisation Nurse to join our team as a Vaccination Programme Clinician.
As a Vaccination Programme Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering clinical duties relating to immunisation in schools and community clinic settings. This will include vaccinating schoolchildren, working collaboratively with the team to support service delivery, and promoting the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
You will work closely with Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads to ensure the smooth continuity of service delivery. Your duties will also include participating in clinical supervision, auditing, and making recommendations based on findings.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have evidence of ongoing professional development, experience working within PGD frameworks, and an understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
You will also require a nursing or midwifery qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). In addition, you should be computer literate and able to maintain cold chain requirements.
