About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate social worker to join our Initial Response Team (IRT) in Bury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in our area.

The IRT is a fast-paced and dynamic team that works closely with other agencies to provide a positive and timely first experience of our service. We are looking for a social worker who is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about ensuring that children and families receive the best possible support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified social worker registered with SW England and have access to a car to enable you to visit and support our children and families. You will also need to be committed to relationship-based social work and have a strong focus on child-centered practice.
