About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious solicitor with 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation, including contentious probate work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious probate and non-contentious private client law, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Run your own cases, handling the full range of contentious probate matters, including Inheritance Act claims, challenges to the validity of Wills, executor/administrator disputes, estate administration disputes, and trust disputes.
- Work closely with colleagues on large cases, benefiting from supervision and support from the Head of the Will Disputes & Contentious Probate team, who is rated as one of the leading individuals in contentious probate in the South East.
- Contribute to the development of our contentious probate practice, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and colleagues alike.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation, including contentious probate work.
- Strong background in contentious probate and non-contentious private client law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex cases.
