We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Rugby Borough Council. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with budget managers and Chief Officers, working closely with them to enhance the finance offer and drive business growth.
  • Advise on various financial matters, including the usage of grants and reserves, to ensure the organisation's financial stability and success.
  • Support the annual budget setting process, working with Lead Accountants to ensure a balanced medium-term financial plan is delivered in accordance with legislative requirements and accounting standards.
  • Assist with the production of the Council's Financial Statements, Whole of Government Accounts, and the external audit.
