We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our team at Hotel Du Vin Poole. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest room is maintained to the highest standards.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 per year, plus generous company benefits, training and development opportunities.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including staff supervision, budgeting and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including budgeting and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Detailed knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and improvement.
