About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Public Security division, which applies biometric technology expertise to empower global law enforcement agencies. With 50+ years of experience, we are trusted by over 85 governments worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions that meet requirements and optimize software performance.
  • Identify and reuse existing software components, libraries, and frameworks to improve efficiency.
  • Apply knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Contribute to requirement analysis and estimations, and support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities.
  • Build and maintain software structure, including functions, design patterns, layers, and documentation.
  • Contribute to software architecture, including specification analysis, technical studies, technology assessment, and code reviews.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and coach and manage a small team of Software Development Engineers.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software development, with knowledge of languages such as Java, Python, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, OpenAPI 3, APIs, SVN, Bitbucket, Nexus, Sonarqube, Nessus, and Cyberwatch.
  • Good command of English and excellent communication skills.
