Job Details

St Aidan's CE Memorial Primary School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team of professionals in the Two Year Old Provision. The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills. They will be responsible for supporting young children, working alongside teaching staff, and contributing to the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to young children
  • Assist with daily routines, including preparing materials and resources
  • Help to create a stimulating and creative learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements
  • Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development and learning
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
