Assistant Director of Debt Recovery

We are looking for an Assistant Director of Debt Recovery to join our team at Austin Fraser. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely and effective collection of debts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit control, with experience in managing a team and driving results-oriented initiatives. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients' finance teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely and effective collection of debts.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients' finance teams to drive efficient cash collection.
• Co-managing the credit control team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve debt collection rates and overall team performance.
• Attending regular review meetings with the Head of Credit Control to discuss progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit control, preferably within the legal sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive results-oriented initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
