About the Role

Sense is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our Supported Living services in Aylesford and Margate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality, responsive service to individuals with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities.
  • Support the manager in the running of the service, including rota planning, supervising, mentoring, and leading the team.
  • Deliver services that meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
  • Travel between services and work between the two homes when required.
Requirements
  • A full manual UK license and willingness to drive our company vehicle.
  • Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in the management of services and understanding of the legislation and requirements that govern us from CQC.
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments/learning difficulties is beneficial.
