Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Analysis Engineer to join our team at https://www.energyjobline.com/sitemap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support within the marine discipline to the MODU rig organization.
  • Keep the discipline up to date with best practice analysis and work methods, including applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualification Requirements
  • Higher technical education (MSc, BSc or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of operational activities, construction work, workmanship, and material knowledge.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements and governmental authorities' expectations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian.
  • Sufficient computer skills in relevant software.
QHSE
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to achieve the company's mission and objectives.
  • Ensure focus on security, environment, efficiency, quality, and competence according to company goals and guidelines.
  • Ensure current processes and procedures for Quality assurance, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) are observed.
  • Identify and comply with core values: Committed, Safety conscious, Creative, Competent, Result oriented.
  • Contribute to the overall working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Duties/ Tasks
  • Take responsibility for efficient delivery of technical support within marine discipline; operational support and marine analyses.
  • Communicate with OTL organization, operational personnel, clients, project managers, and suppliers.
  • Take responsibility for keeping the discipline up to date with best practice analysis and work methods including applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Provide input and support in long-term plans and improvement initiatives for the company on upgrades, class renewals, and modifications.
Systems

Follow all applicable instructions and procedures to maintain a good quality and effectiveness of the work and use the systems and programs required and authorized by the company.
