Senior Hydrogeologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team at Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd. As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will play a key role in delivering water-related projects nationally, working with clients from various sectors such as minerals, waste, agriculture, housing developments, and environmental clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeology, with experience in quantifying groundwater flow, producing technical reports, and using water modeling packages. You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and regulators.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of hydrogeological issues
• Develop and implement groundwater models
• Produce high-quality technical reports and presentations
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A postgraduate degree in hydrogeology or a related subject
• At least 2 years of experience in a consultancy environment
• Experience with GIS software and water modeling packages
• Professional registration with a relevant institution
• A full driving license
