Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Analyst to join our global IT team in Glasgow. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering and operating Seapeak's business systems. You will establish strong relationships with IT and process stakeholders to understand support requirements and how the supported systems are used.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and resolving application problems on a day-to-day basis, including evening and weekend support as required. Your role will involve coordinating problem resolution aboard ships and ensuring that your application environments support unit, regression, and user acceptance testing.

You will work closely with other analysts to design and operate data interfaces and APIs. Additionally, you will champion data integrity and reliability through education and monitoring, mentoring junior IT members along the way. Your expertise in continuous quality improvement, management information systems techniques, and change control procedures will be invaluable in this role.

A competitive salary of £35,000-£50,000 per annum reflects the importance of this position in supporting our growth through acquisition and newbuild orders. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid working, 36 days' annual leave, private health, dental, and travel cover, and up to 9% employer pension contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong relationships with process stakeholders to understand and prioritize issues, work items, initiatives, and projects that deliver value.
  • Identify, track, and resolve application problems on a day-to-day basis, including evening and weekend support as required.
  • Coordinate problem resolution aboard ships.
  • Ensure that application environments support unit, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with other analysts on designing and operating data interfaces and APIs.
  • Champion data integrity and reliability through education and monitoring.
  • Mentor junior IT members.
  • Create or update standardized application support documentation.
  • Work with the analytics team to identify table relationships and data behavior within supported systems to improve integrations and data quality within the data warehouse.
  • Develop reports and dashboards in conjunction with business stakeholders to assist in identifying KPIs and data trends.
