About the Role

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our therapy services in West Yorkshire.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across four complex care services, providing specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses, and interventions to support residents with everyday tasks and activities.

You will play a key role in empowering our residents to maintain and build their abilities, achieve their goals, and evaluate outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • managing a clinical caseload
  • collaborating closely with professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions
  • working alongside the people we support and their loved ones to promote choice, dignity, and independence

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice, excellent range of interventions, and creative thinking skills. You will put people at the heart of everything you do and be committed to delivering high-quality care.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • a degree in occupational therapy or related field
  • experience working in healthcare, preferably in a similar setting
  • strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • ability to demonstrate an excellent range of occupational therapy interventions and treatments
