Music Teacher Position in Liverpool
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school in Liverpool. This full-time permanent position presents an exceptional opportunity to share your musical expertise and ignite a lifelong love of music in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical skills and appreciation.
- Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and celebrates musical expression.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the school's music program, including extracurricular activities and performances.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in music education.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
- Strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.
