Workingmums is a well-established organisation based in the UK, seeking a Part Time Financial Controller to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced individual who has experience in a Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) and is looking for a reduced hours role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full preparation and production of the monthly management accounts
  • Full balance sheet analysis and reconciliation for the Managing Director
  • Year-end accounts and liaison with the accountants in respect of corporation tax
  • Monthly payroll for multiple companies
  • Handling the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and working closely with existing suppliers
  • Bank posting and reconciliations
  • Supporting with general office duties including Human Resources (HR) and facilities management
  • Overseeing support staff's work in various offices

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience of working in an SME or a sole charge role will be beneficial
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage
  • Payroll exposure
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
