About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified actuary to join our team as an Actuarial Specialist - Longevity & Research. As a member of the Actuarial Assumptions team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining accurate and reliable demographic assumptions for life insurance products, particularly annuities.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing mortality experience for large contracts, commenting on the future longevity impact of emerging medical treatments, and specifying proposed assumptions for use in product pricing models. You will also have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in longevity and expose yourself to other annuity-related demographic assumptions.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in actuarial science, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
